YOUR TASKS

• Lead customer projects throughout the complete project lifecycle, from RFQ and nomination to SOP and series production support.
• Act as the primary communication interface for customers regarding project status, timing, technical requirements, risks, escalations and change management.
• Manage projects in accordance with automotive standards and ASPICE development processes.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
• Lead project reviews, risk assessments, action tracking and escalation management internally and with customers.
• Drive planning, execution and monitoring development activities with internal teams and external development partners.
• Support product and process cost calculations during quotation and development phases.
• Ensure achievement of project targets related to quality, cost, timing and customer satisfaction.
• Work closely with Key Account Managers to support customer growth, new business acquisition and strategic account development.
• Travel regularly to customer locations and ITW sites across Europe and globally.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

• University degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, Plastics Engineering or a comparable technical discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of project management experience in the automotive industry.
• Proven experience managing projects with OEMs and/or Tier 1 automotive suppliers.
• Strong understanding of automotive E/E systems, electronic components and system integration.
• Practical experience with ASPICE-compliant development projects.
• Business fluent German and English, both written and spoken.
• Experience leading cross-functional and international project teams.
• Strong customer-facing and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to lead technical and commercial discussions with customers.
• Excellent communication, organizational and problem-solving skills.
